youngistan by vikas

Hi

Me Vikas Shah from MTV Youngistan Community as I have been participant of that event

So I am just trying to xpressing my view of “what is youngistan” may be I hv my language and my way to xpress this term more or less it would be wrong or right from other’s point of view

Q -1. What is Youngistan

Uhhh….Youngistan by d name u cn think it’s a world of Young one’s but u cnt ignore the other age group since if ur young tdy, but yest.you will be old so tat desnt mean tat u will be nt youngistan dude

The main meaning behind this that you thought should be innovative, should be sound good and you should have the ability and will power to change the world with ur nice thought I dnt mean to sy tat u should change the world and had ownership, I mean to say that u should nvr say yes to crime, you should be against and have voice against such crime since if you will nt go against such crimes the society will be suffer , and in this society u and ur family also comes….so end of the day u will think “kasha mane ush samay kuch kiya hotha tou aaj asha nahi hotha”

So it’s a word be gareup ur self and hv ur voice, once u think ur alone but later u will find the world is with you since your on right path……..

Most new business establishments are also completely tailored to the needs of the young. It’s indeed surprising to note that even many of the new super stores do not have a ramp for wheelchair entry or a convenient elevator. I recently noted that to access the elevator in a popular multiplex, you first have to walk down to the basement area and from there you take the elevator. There’s no ramp or elevator at the entrance.
If The youth are driving the new India and certainly should enjoy the fruits of a vibrant, powerful and more confident India than ever before. But unfortunately humans can’t stay young for life. So unless the young act now, in a few years time they would be struggling over the same dug up and encroached footpaths that their parents and grandparents are today.

Q – 2 How the Word Youngistan is Created?

Youngistan world is created by the awareness of youth. If the youth is aware whats going in there surrounding and there near by city they will be much concern about the society too.
So as u cn see this Community “●┼● MTV Wassup Youngistan ●┼●™” the member is almost 1,45,580 so u cn imazine in this small network of friends you cn find this much of youth so the Indian youth wanted a right direction and then see How beautiful this Country would be Cam and cool, and there side effect will grow the Indian economy by 1.15 Trillion Dollar to 10.15 Trillion dollar with there new ideas in service and Industry sector
So Indian youth cn join the NGO, Social networking site, Youth News channel where reality comes 1st and some should join even politics but dnt be a bad politician.

Q – 3 Features of Youngistan
1. Its should be a community of Young Youth but we cnt ignore the other age group as I stated above the reason
2. It should be a Revolution since revolution change the world as we cn see our past it was a revolution that’s y we got FREEDOM
3. Its nt only a voice its should be a voice of society and the voice of truth
4. All the matter which are increasing crime and which are harming our society, atmosphere, our security, defiance, etc
5. It should nt be limited to India only since if we became selfish the world will becomes no mans land………
6. Should aware about the society nt only about his/her home only

Q -4- Howz your youngistan?

Truly speaking ….my youngistan is RAHUL GHANDI(Cong. PS), I had gone through his blog and I hd observed that how keen he is to change his nation in a Positive tone. So he is a right name and u cn say a path for all to follow him and just make a change in our nation.

If you are talking about me I just try to remove ill words frm my life and I just try to help the poor, and I hd also enrolled to one of NGO nearby my city by the name of “Akhri Assh” this NGO help the people who are below poverty line and provide food and shelter in Dhramhala.

So this is all from my side… may be I m wrong….but I hd describe my opinion. I hd spend my last 3 hour on thinking and writing above for nt only to win this tread, but sachi I get a chance from you people to express my option. So it was great to describing all those stuff…and now feeling good. But please ignore all spelling mistake and my logic…..
So thanks “MTV Wassup Youngistan” community

Youngistan By sandy

Youngistan……the story starts from an ad for a cola ‘Pepsi’, featuring SRK, Ranbir and deepika in which ‘Young’ Ranbir had an upper hand and he took away the gal in front of her big bro SRK.
“CHAHO TOH SAB KUCHH HAI AASAAN
YEH HAI YOUNGISTAN MERI JAAN”

That’s what Ranbir quotes in the ad
Well, that’s not just a dialogue but a source inspiration in itself. These words describe our youngistan probably the best way in simple words.
Chaho toh sab kuchh hai aasan……that’s it….thats the spirit for
You just need to have that courage in yourself to do what you intend. You just need to make that extra bit, make that extra effort to do what normal ‘hindustaanis’ don’t. That’s what makes you a youngistaani ,
(Even though I don’t intend to be filmi) I want to add the SRK dialogue here.

“AGAR TUM KISI CHEEZ KO PURI SHIDDAT SE CHAHO TOH PURI QAYENAAT USE TUMSE MILANE MEIN LAG JAATI HAI.”

In short, you just need to have that spirit in you to do what you always wanted to.
For example, you hate these corrupt politicians??
You have the right to speech, you may express yourself to the fellow youngis and raise a voice against the system prevailing and if your words and actions deserve, you will maybe get joined by thousands of lacs of people with similar aspirations. Your one voice can inspire the whole youth to gather and may make a difference.
I feel like saying
“Ab utho nahin
JAAGO”

There is always a solution to your problems…you just need to have that much of courage in you, the confidence to convey it……to raise a voice and make a difference…..

We have a TV show called Wassup youngistan on MTV (no intro needed)………this show maybe called the ideal form a youngistan spirit…these people tell you what’s happening around you, they tell what your fellow youngistaanis think about it and then they also ask you to write in your own view to the thing. They inspire you to be all good. For example, being physically fit, helping the people who need it, save our environment etc. They also tell you what your youngistani mates around different corners of India are doing and making a difference and also how we can join them.

How the word ‘youngistaan’ is created ??

Basically, (what we obviously know is, that the word youngistan is coined from two words ‘Young” and “ Hindustan ” ( = YOUNGISTAN ) That’s how this word is formed. Simply, the name describes itself. Youngistan is the society, the community of young hindustaanis that wants a change in the way things are going on around us and we people have in us what it takes to make a difference……to raise a voice…..to change the things.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FEATURES: IS IT A COMMUNITY OF YOUNG ONES ??

Yes, as the name suggests, youngistaan is obviously a community of young ones.
BUT….young, here, does not mean is terms of age, u gotta be young by your heart; your thoughts must be young. That’s enough and you may be a part of youngistaan.
Here the best example I can give is that the founder of this term PEPSI, has SRK as its brand ambassador. We obviously know that this guy is well above 40 (about 44 probably) but the things is that he is fit to the term because of his young thoughts and his way of presenting them before us.

Youngistan ……..a revolution…..a movement…..

Yeah, youngistan is a revolution. It is a symbol of transition. We obviously have our intentions to bring about a change…..youngistan is a movement against corruption prevailing in our nation, inequality, illiteracy, unemployment, superstitious traditions and rituals, anti-social norms etc.
Being a youngistani means being a part of community that’s always ready to take an initiative to take things in hand and make India a better place to live in.
This generation of 21st century is a different one……….we are no more shy to come forward and place our views, we no more fear the consequences. WE HAVE IT IN US TO ACHIEVE WHAT WE INTEND. Youngistaan is just a platform where we present our views and go for it.

Hmmmmmmmm, the best example I can give here is that of our Indian cricket team……..
In 2007, International Cricket Council (ICC) that one more world cup will be played apart from the normal one for ODI championship and this one will bring into play, a new format of the game- T20. Asia, especially India was probably the last nation to accept this form of cricket.
During this very year, India badly lost the One Day international World Cup and were out in the first round getting lost at the hands of underdogs Bangladesh . Indian team had in it the likes of Ganguly, Dravid, Kumble, Sachin, and still could even manage to get into Super Six round.
Now, it was time for the selection of Indian T20 squad.
Here, Sachin Tendulkar, the god of cricket made a statement saying that he did want to participate in the T20 world cup because he wants to make way for the next generation. That’s what happened, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a new comer that time, who had a good initial ODI stats was named the captain and almost the team had no names like dravid, ganguly, laxman, sachin, kumble, etc.
Yuvraj Singh & Virender Sehwag, even though seniormost players were kept aside and Dhoni was the new laeding man. Now, it was all upon the young players to do it or not. These people had nothing to loose behind them, they could only lift themselves up from there.
Rest, as we say, is history
India won the maiden T20 international World Cup and these boys made a statement that the future of the Indian team was in safe and responsible hands, the handes of young people who could sustain pressure and perform well even in the bad times.

What’s actually covered under youngistan??

Youngistan actually cover young people. Young in the sense that they shold be young at their heart and they must have the right spirit in them. Youngistan includes all the young, energetic, efficieny, fearless, confident people irrespective of their cast, creed, race, religion, nation, language, culture, etc.
Young need not cover only Indian people. People of the entire world are welcome. All they need is to have young hearts and a never-say-die attitude in them.

Hows your youngistan?
How do you want your youngistan to be?
How is it now?
How do you want to make it?

Hmmmmmmmmm…….my youngistan is that world in which member is free to do that thing what he always wanted to but he couldn’t because there was no ‘medium’ whatsoever. Youngistan is that medium, that stage where on can present himself to raise a voice and make a difference and contribute to the betterment of humanity.
Some days ago, on Wassup, I saw some group of students invited young students of Pakistan to Mumbai and showed them the real India .
Students of both nations sat together & talked out everything about their views on each others nation, culture and all. The interesting thing was that what they found was that India and Pakistan are almost exactly the same!!
These people called this program as ‘Seeds of Peace” Awesome……indeed, they were quite successful in their intentions
I also some group of students who made a car that that was completely based on solar energy and long time ago, in some newspaper, I also read that some people ran their cars by biogas. That’s, youngiatan!!!
Talking about my city, I know some group of young people who run an NGO name as CAFÉ – Child Adoption For Education.
These people ask for Rs. 500 per year and what they of that amount is that they make some school kits (containing slates, chalks, bags, uniforms, shoes, etc.) and they distribute them among some village students and one single kit ensure education of a students for a year. Great!.......i mean that’s how people need to come forward and contribute to a better India………that’s how our youngistan should be and that’s how it is….i am proud to be a part of it.

What I want to add to my youngistan is that I want my mates to be more respective to their elders. I know some people who don’t obey their parents, they insult their teachers everytime they get a chance and they do all bad in their exams. That’s really unfortunate on our part. I feel ashamed when people say, “yeh aaj kal ke ladke……..”
I want my fellow youngis to be more responsible and respective to their elders and that they must try their best to do what they are expected to.

Lastly, I want to give an example of the spirit of my youngistan.
Today is 12th of feb. Film MNIK is released today ( all after the opposition of Shivsainiks). On a news channel, I saw a guy coming out of the theatre and giving the review of the film, he told that he was actually encouraged by Shivsena to watch the film. Previously, he was to get the Sunday tickets but he then bought the tickets of first day, first show. This was really a slap of these disgusting people from Shivsena who are a blot on the face young India .
The guy said, “Okay, we are all calm over this issue but this is only because we want peace in India .”
That’s it!!! That’s what my youngistan is and that’s what I want it to be.

Google ordered to pay 500,000 dlrs to F1 racer Barrichello

Internet giant Google has been ordered to pay 500,000 dollars in damages to Formula 1 racer Rubens Barrichello, pictured in October 2009, for hosting fake online profiles of him on its social network Orkut.

Internet giant Google has been ordered to pay 500,000 dollars in damages to Formula 1 racer Rubens Barrichello for hosting fake online profiles of him on its social network Orkut.

The decision by the court in Sao Paulo was published Monday in the Brazilian state's official government gazette.

It said the damages could be raised to 700,000 dollars because of the case was lodged in July 2006, and that Google risked a daily fine of 590 dollars until the pages referring to Barrichello were removed.

Orkut, owned by Google, has a big following in Brasil, though it is losing some ground to a new Portuguese-language version of Facebook that has become available.

The 15th district court of Sao Paulo hearing the civil case determined that Google's responsibility was proved because it managed the site and established the rules for its use.

Media said there were more than 300 fake profiles under Barrichello's name on Orkut.

The US Internet company made no immediate comment on the judgement.

Brazilian specialists said the amount of damages was the biggest yet awarded for false web profiles and online libel.

How to dress up a blog ?

“Dress makes the man” and in blogging world “a well dressed blog makes the blogger”

A Blog is an extension of the personality of the blog authors. It kind of reflects the thoughts and the persona of the blogger. So a well dressed blog is as important as a well dressed man. So that brings us to a discussion what makes a well dressed blog.

Content definitely is what makes ultimately a blog to be noticed and stand out but also important is the other elements that goes into making a good blog. Let list out some major elements that goes into a blog.

So what makes a well dressed blog ?

how to dress up a blog, blogger templates, blogs

1. Templates / theme: It’s the first thing one has to decide while making of his blog. Blog themes vary like our dressing options. Formal wear, casual wear, party wear – we choose our dress according to our personality trait and the occasion. Same holds true with your blog template. One has to choose the right theme that goes with the personality trait of the blogger and the nature of the blog.

2. Layout: Short sleeves or Full sleeves? With pockets or without pockets? Normal dress or short dress? Options are many. So is with your blog template. You have to figure out the number of sidebars you want, the size of sidebar, the site resolution etc. At times your options could be limited depending on the template you are using.

3. Header: First thing that holds our eye when someone visits your blog is the header. A header can be just text or highlighted with a photography, logo or nice graphics. Choose a right header.

4. Footer: It is one of the often neglected areas of a blog. Still, it could be made interesting as well as functional. Check this 40 creative blog footer designs.

5. Sidebar: Sidebar is one of the most used/abused parts of the blog. Widgets, badges, banners, links vies with each other for this particular vantage point of your blog. Some people over populate it and rarely you will find people underutilize it. Find the right placements for all pieces of decorations and utility in this space.

6. Widgets and Plugins: This is something every blogger finds spoilt for choices. It’s simple, easy to add and does wonders for your blog decoratively as well as functionally. Some Plugins are like invisible stitches of a dress but vital and very functional. Understand your blog, research the various available widgets and plugins and choose the right ones. You don’t have to add up every widget you see just because they are available free.

7. Ad placements: It’s all about money, honey! Most bloggers do dream of making money out of their blog. Nothing to be embarrassed about! Quiet natural but then it should not be the only focus at the cost of the passion for blogging. Don’t make your blog an eye sore with Ad banners screaming from possible nooks and corners. Make money smartly by placing the advertisement at vantage points.

8. About me: I bet most people can write great content in their blog but scratch their head when it comes to the “About me” section.

9. Font selection: Keep it readable, simple and universal font. In fact, I should thank one of my friend who is a regular reader of GingerChai as well as my best critic who made me realize the importance of the font. (For readers information the font used here is Verdana)

10. Color scheme: One may tend to become adventurist when it comes to coloring their blog but do give a thought from the perspective of your readers. Make it pleasing and readable if you want readers to return.

Having said all this let me emphasize again the one important point. Dress makes the man but all important is how sensible and intelligent he is. So no matter how well dressed your blog is, at the end of the day your blog needs a good content. So get dressed well and create wonderful content.

Happy blogging!
