Youngistan By sandy

Youngistan……the story starts from an ad for a cola ‘Pepsi’, featuring SRK, Ranbir and deepika in which ‘Young’ Ranbir had an upper hand and he took away the gal in front of her big bro SRK.
“CHAHO TOH SAB KUCHH HAI AASAAN
YEH HAI YOUNGISTAN MERI JAAN”

That’s what Ranbir quotes in the ad
Well, that’s not just a dialogue but a source inspiration in itself. These words describe our youngistan probably the best way in simple words.
Chaho toh sab kuchh hai aasan……that’s it….thats the spirit for
You just need to have that courage in yourself to do what you intend. You just need to make that extra bit, make that extra effort to do what normal ‘hindustaanis’ don’t. That’s what makes you a youngistaani ,
(Even though I don’t intend to be filmi) I want to add the SRK dialogue here.

“AGAR TUM KISI CHEEZ KO PURI SHIDDAT SE CHAHO TOH PURI QAYENAAT USE TUMSE MILANE MEIN LAG JAATI HAI.”

In short, you just need to have that spirit in you to do what you always wanted to.
For example, you hate these corrupt politicians??
You have the right to speech, you may express yourself to the fellow youngis and raise a voice against the system prevailing and if your words and actions deserve, you will maybe get joined by thousands of lacs of people with similar aspirations. Your one voice can inspire the whole youth to gather and may make a difference.
I feel like saying
“Ab utho nahin
JAAGO”

There is always a solution to your problems…you just need to have that much of courage in you, the confidence to convey it……to raise a voice and make a difference…..

We have a TV show called Wassup youngistan on MTV (no intro needed)………this show maybe called the ideal form a youngistan spirit…these people tell you what’s happening around you, they tell what your fellow youngistaanis think about it and then they also ask you to write in your own view to the thing. They inspire you to be all good. For example, being physically fit, helping the people who need it, save our environment etc. They also tell you what your youngistani mates around different corners of India are doing and making a difference and also how we can join them.

How the word ‘youngistaan’ is created ??

Basically, (what we obviously know is, that the word youngistan is coined from two words ‘Young” and “ Hindustan ” ( = YOUNGISTAN ) That’s how this word is formed. Simply, the name describes itself. Youngistan is the society, the community of young hindustaanis that wants a change in the way things are going on around us and we people have in us what it takes to make a difference……to raise a voice…..to change the things.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FEATURES: IS IT A COMMUNITY OF YOUNG ONES ??

Yes, as the name suggests, youngistaan is obviously a community of young ones.
BUT….young, here, does not mean is terms of age, u gotta be young by your heart; your thoughts must be young. That’s enough and you may be a part of youngistaan.
Here the best example I can give is that the founder of this term PEPSI, has SRK as its brand ambassador. We obviously know that this guy is well above 40 (about 44 probably) but the things is that he is fit to the term because of his young thoughts and his way of presenting them before us.

Youngistan ……..a revolution…..a movement…..

Yeah, youngistan is a revolution. It is a symbol of transition. We obviously have our intentions to bring about a change…..youngistan is a movement against corruption prevailing in our nation, inequality, illiteracy, unemployment, superstitious traditions and rituals, anti-social norms etc.
Being a youngistani means being a part of community that’s always ready to take an initiative to take things in hand and make India a better place to live in.
This generation of 21st century is a different one……….we are no more shy to come forward and place our views, we no more fear the consequences. WE HAVE IT IN US TO ACHIEVE WHAT WE INTEND. Youngistaan is just a platform where we present our views and go for it.

Hmmmmmmmm, the best example I can give here is that of our Indian cricket team……..
In 2007, International Cricket Council (ICC) that one more world cup will be played apart from the normal one for ODI championship and this one will bring into play, a new format of the game- T20. Asia, especially India was probably the last nation to accept this form of cricket.
During this very year, India badly lost the One Day international World Cup and were out in the first round getting lost at the hands of underdogs Bangladesh . Indian team had in it the likes of Ganguly, Dravid, Kumble, Sachin, and still could even manage to get into Super Six round.
Now, it was time for the selection of Indian T20 squad.
Here, Sachin Tendulkar, the god of cricket made a statement saying that he did want to participate in the T20 world cup because he wants to make way for the next generation. That’s what happened, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a new comer that time, who had a good initial ODI stats was named the captain and almost the team had no names like dravid, ganguly, laxman, sachin, kumble, etc.
Yuvraj Singh & Virender Sehwag, even though seniormost players were kept aside and Dhoni was the new laeding man. Now, it was all upon the young players to do it or not. These people had nothing to loose behind them, they could only lift themselves up from there.
Rest, as we say, is history
India won the maiden T20 international World Cup and these boys made a statement that the future of the Indian team was in safe and responsible hands, the handes of young people who could sustain pressure and perform well even in the bad times.

What’s actually covered under youngistan??

Youngistan actually cover young people. Young in the sense that they shold be young at their heart and they must have the right spirit in them. Youngistan includes all the young, energetic, efficieny, fearless, confident people irrespective of their cast, creed, race, religion, nation, language, culture, etc.
Young need not cover only Indian people. People of the entire world are welcome. All they need is to have young hearts and a never-say-die attitude in them.

Hows your youngistan?
How do you want your youngistan to be?
How is it now?
How do you want to make it?

Hmmmmmmmmm…….my youngistan is that world in which member is free to do that thing what he always wanted to but he couldn’t because there was no ‘medium’ whatsoever. Youngistan is that medium, that stage where on can present himself to raise a voice and make a difference and contribute to the betterment of humanity.
Some days ago, on Wassup, I saw some group of students invited young students of Pakistan to Mumbai and showed them the real India .
Students of both nations sat together & talked out everything about their views on each others nation, culture and all. The interesting thing was that what they found was that India and Pakistan are almost exactly the same!!
These people called this program as ‘Seeds of Peace” Awesome……indeed, they were quite successful in their intentions
I also some group of students who made a car that that was completely based on solar energy and long time ago, in some newspaper, I also read that some people ran their cars by biogas. That’s, youngiatan!!!
Talking about my city, I know some group of young people who run an NGO name as CAFÉ – Child Adoption For Education.
These people ask for Rs. 500 per year and what they of that amount is that they make some school kits (containing slates, chalks, bags, uniforms, shoes, etc.) and they distribute them among some village students and one single kit ensure education of a students for a year. Great!.......i mean that’s how people need to come forward and contribute to a better India………that’s how our youngistan should be and that’s how it is….i am proud to be a part of it.

What I want to add to my youngistan is that I want my mates to be more respective to their elders. I know some people who don’t obey their parents, they insult their teachers everytime they get a chance and they do all bad in their exams. That’s really unfortunate on our part. I feel ashamed when people say, “yeh aaj kal ke ladke……..”
I want my fellow youngis to be more responsible and respective to their elders and that they must try their best to do what they are expected to.

Lastly, I want to give an example of the spirit of my youngistan.
Today is 12th of feb. Film MNIK is released today ( all after the opposition of Shivsainiks). On a news channel, I saw a guy coming out of the theatre and giving the review of the film, he told that he was actually encouraged by Shivsena to watch the film. Previously, he was to get the Sunday tickets but he then bought the tickets of first day, first show. This was really a slap of these disgusting people from Shivsena who are a blot on the face young India .
The guy said, “Okay, we are all calm over this issue but this is only because we want peace in India .”
That’s it!!! That’s what my youngistan is and that’s what I want it to be.

CHAHO TOH SABKUCHH HAI AASAAN
YEH HAI YOUNGISTAN MERI JAAN
